POSTPONED Charitable Planning in 2020 – The Old and the New
Due to the rapidly-unfolding developments surrounding COVID-19, we have decided to postpone this month’s presentation. We will look to reschedule Jeffrey’s presentation as soon as possible. Once we have a new date, we will notify you.
This presentation will cover recent developments in charitable planning for income and estate purposes, and also will review general rules governing income and estate tax charitable deductions. Other topics discussed will include charitable giving vehicles such as charitable lead trusts and charitable remainder trusts and practical planning strategies involving both types of trusts, assignment of income issues and a comparison of private foundations and donor-advised funds.
